Reaming cork

I had another grip to make so I went to the shop to ream out some cork.

I had picked up a new Dewalt Brushless 1/2 inch rechargable drill about 3 years ago, but had never gotten around to using it.

A couple of my other drills had finally gone to their happy hunting ground, so I decided to use this drill for the first time.

A really remarkable drill. Light, powerful and one of the quietest drills that I have ever used. It was a pleasure to use this drill when doing the power reaming as I usually do with a drill.

This is the drill that I used for the application:

One thing that I much appreciated with this drill was the top end speed at 2,000 rpm, compared to a much slower top speed of my other 1/2 inch drills.

If you happen to be looking for a new drill, you might consider this particular unit.

Good luck

I am not a big DeWalt / Black & Decker fan but if Roger says it is a good unit, it most likely is!

Mark,
10/4 on the Black and Decker quality.

But, generally speaking the quality of the Dewalt tools is comparable to the Makita, and other high quality tools.

Good luck
