I am building a new rod and the guy wants white grips and reel seat. I have been told the the Magic Marble Mad Swirl Marbling is what i need to use to make my cork grips and reel seal white. My question is do i have to prime the cork and reel seat with a primer and if i do what primer do i use and do i need to put a clear coat of finish when i have made the cork and reel seat white?

Magic Marbling is just that - paint and a method for marbling. If you simply want white grips and reel seat, you'll probably be better off with white EVA and a reel seat painted white. Both are available from various sources.
