Hello,
I recently came across two of these blanks and can't seem to find any info on them. They're yellowish-gold in color and about 54" long. Can take pics and measurements if that would be more helpful.... thanks! Re: Heddon 1106 blanks

Older glass blanks. Fairly tough. Made to be used with a stand-alone handle, pistol or straight grip with a chuck and butt ferrule.

In 1952 I had a low end fly rod with Heddon stamped on it (all I could afford at that time) I don't remember much more except it was definitely NOT a Winston or a Orvis. Nick R. Re: Heddon 1106 blanks

I'm wondering if I can epoxy in about 12" of a similar sized blank to accommodate the rear grip and place the seat and fore grip on the blank itself. This would just be for the kids use in the neighborhood retention pond. Or, I could just make a VERY stout, very short rod. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
