I am searching for a large inside diameter EVA Foam grip for a large 1.180 outside diameter beach rod blank. Everything I am able to find so far, the largest ID I can find is .690.

Can anyone assist me in this search?

Get one of the standard 2 inch foam eva blocks and turn your own, or have one turned.

You just need to ream them out, our ForeCast Dream Reamer kit is great for that: [alpsforecast.com]

About the largest ID we have for EVA girps is .875" ID: [alpsforecast.com]

Anyone of our dealers will carry the above.

Check with Carol at Utmost. They have a bunch of oversized EVA in the shop and I know you won't beat the price.

Thank you EVERYONE! This is exactly what I was looking for and I'll do my best to buy from everyone just to support our sponsors!

Since Pompano season has started here in Florida, I have been receiving all kinds of "inquiries" shall we say about replacing eyes on beach rods but a lot of people want hew handles because they get all messed up when you put them in the beach rod holders. This is going to allow me to get some additional work going.

Put heat or cold shrink on the EVA if they are getting beat up. I think Batson still has a tutorial on a neat install method somewhere on their web site. Maybe James Taylor can tell ya where it is!
