Thanks Gabriel. One question - normally I use an assist line with a fluorocarbon core for slow pitch jigging...stiffer than hollow core but not as stiff as metal core. Is your PES core the equivalent? Or what would be most like a fluoro-cored assist line in your products? Thanks!

Hi Bill,

Super Assist Line Marine/Ocean PC (Polymer Core) were developed exactly for jigging with 2 things mainly in mind - 1. No slack formation to avoid snagging when jig touches or dredges on ocean bottom. 2. Stiff but bending recovery to prevent hook snagging, line tangling around jig. Assist line PC is stiffer than fluorocarbon and thinner for the same strength. PC should be the right one for slow pitch jigging and I don’t think you will need metal core unless you fish toothy ones. Ocean PC has ultra strong abrasion resistance especially. To give you some idea on PC line, I uploaded a quick video on our Instagram. Pls take a look here [instagram.com]. It’s Ocean PC black 320 lb. There are some die-hard jiggers who insert our monoline into Assist line DC (Hollow Core) to get even stiffer action but PC should be enough for most jigging.

Thanks.
