Vintage Rod Info

I recently acquired an old rod that I want to re-do. All of the guides except the tip top have been cut off. I cannot find much information at all about this rod and was hoping someone on here knew something about it. All I've found is that it was likely made in the late 60's or early 70's. It's a one piece fiberglass blank. It has a large, long maple handle with the reel seat in the middle. I need to know if it is a spinning rod or casting rod and what size/type of guides I can use to make it as close to original as possible. Links to pictures are below.
The rod label says the following: "Anger Rod Co. St. Clair MI". The model is No. 708, 7 1/2' 1795 [imgur.com] [imgur.com] [imgur.com] [imgur.com] [imgur.com] Any information about this is appreciated. TIA for the help. Re: Vintage Rod Info

the casting rods had a metal trigger that was soldered on the seat and the spinning rods didn't have it you should be able to tell by the size of the wraps also if it was casting or spinning
from your picture I would say spinning unless the trigger was broken off The best day to be alive is always tomorrow !! Think out side the box when all else fails !!! Wi. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/07/2017 06:05PM by Matthew Paul. Re: Vintage Rod Info

Thank you so much for the help! Now I need to know what size guides to use on this, and if the guide style or materials have changed much since then? I want to stay as close to the original as possible.
