I found a place that advertises a 6455 XXHB blank and I am not sure if this is the same blank. It is advertised as a white blank. I have an old (about 20 year old) Seeker black classic BSC 6455 XXH rod that I love. Its an off the shelf black blank with aftco roller guides. It is powerful and indestructible (to me) and I would like to make another one. I am not looking for the Black Steel or Super Seeker blanks. I just am not sure the exact code for the old fiberglass blank and where to buy the blank. Re: Looking for old Seeker BSC 6455 XXH 50-130 (80) fiberglass blank

Hello Scott.
The XXHB is an Extra-Extra-Heavy Black blank, if the seller said it was white then the seller is giving you a wrong Part Number, or the seller does not know white from Black. Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: Looking for old Seeker BSC 6455 XXH 50-130 (80) fiberglass blank

The Seeker blank part number for a blank is the same as your rod minus the BSC. The white blanks/rods were usually for the charter boats, from what I remember. Many blank manufacturers back in the day would build a blank in honey (raw), white, and black and you just picked the color when you ordered. Thanks everyone! I was able to order the blank through one of the forum sponsors (Anglers Workshop) who were very helpful. I am hoping the quality is as good as it was 15 years ago as I have heard mixed reviews about Seeker when compared to the old days. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
