How many spinning guides on a 13 foot rodgeeks ?

How many guides do i put on a 13 foot spinning rod ??? I put 8 is that right ??

Depends on the guide system you're going with and then power of the blank involved. What size and type line do you plan to use on this rod?

its a rodgeeks 13 foot 8-20 oz The customer will be catching sharks in the surf I dont know what pound line he will be using I ordered FUJI model SV double foot guides 50,40,30,25,20,16,12,12

That number will probably work. I would check to see if he's going to be using a shock leader. Depending on the knot he uses to connect to his line, you may not be able to go smaller than a size 16 guide. That's generally with mono, braid would possibly get you down another size.
