Top of the day, or evening as it may be, to all.
The newbie here has been graced with many helpful hints and recommendations from many of you willing to take the time to assist. A sincere thanks to all who have responded to my previous posts in an attempt to help me out. This site, and you affiliated with it, are awesome!!! I truly appreciate, respect and possibly even envy you’re your knowledge and abilities concerning custom rod fabrication. Those of you beginning to know me through my posts and replies must have developed the same opinion, “This guy is an over the top over-thinker”, AKA anal retentive, and I am admittedly, if not boastfully proud, of it. By nature, it must be a prerequisite for doing what we all do. But I pale in comparison to those who produce rod works of art, no, make that rod artifacts. You guys make me look like a slob. While, admittedly, I am more interested in the functional aspect of rod building and, in particular, resurrecting the vintage ones to be fished again as initially intended, I am blown away with and more than respect the amount of time, forethought, artistic ability and down-right passion and love some of you put into your masterpieces. Thanks to all of you. An additional thanks to Tom Kirkman who keeps the wheels greased. Mark Talmo FISHING IS NOT AN ESCAPE FROM LIFE BUT RATHER A DEEPER IMMERSION INTO IT!!! BUILDING YOUR OWN SIMPLY ENHANCES THE EXPERIENCE. Re: Heartfelt Thank you
