Poke around enough and you will find it. Also read what Don wrote about it being "possible" that the two come from the same manufacturer. Or..... just pretend I made it all up. I won't lose any sleep over it.

Hi Jay,

Thread requirements are regional. I was asked by local shops to locate thread for their sales. It was a long and slow process and our first major purchases were size D Perma Color (NCP) in one ounce spools. Later came 4 ounce spools in black and one ounce spools of nylon in size D. Some time ago, I brought in small quantities of size A as a courtesy to a small number of local builders. The local sales of size A thread is minute. However, the demand nationally is continuing to grow. Due to the demand, I did bring in small quantities of Perma Color and Nylon in size A on medium size spools. A medium spool of nylon hold 950 yards while a medium spool of Perma Color has 650 yards. Last night I added to our website the Perma Color we have in stock. They are mostly some of the Gudebrod colors. In the next few nights I will add the nylon.

I have neglected my websites far too long. It's past time for catching up with more and newer products.

Thank you,

Don Becker

Thanks for the update Don, Med size spools would be fine for me, I only use nylon, No perma-color or NCP for me, Just my preference, I will need to order within the few months or so for sure, My old Gudebrod stock is getting low and I need to place a good size order, Looks like you have a nice selection of colors. I will keep my eye open on your site. Thanks very much! Jay

Ken,
do you know that even though they may "possibly" come from the same manufacturer that they are indeed the "same thread"? I ask this on account of the way the two behave while using. To me Prowrap is about as unruly as you can possibly get and the Makoi doesn't behave any thing like the ProWrap. Like I posted earlier, I could care less where they come from, for me the Makoi suites my style and is what I will continue to use.

Thanks,
Tom
