Barry,
Thank you for responding. I was given a 5ft, bamboo Heddon casting rod. The reel seat is the nice old German silver (?) with moveable finger trigger but I think the front reel clamp (glorified but very nice hose clamp) has been replaced as it is SS with "Pflueger Griptite" stamped in it. While the clamp is probably old an serving its intended use, I would like to find an original unless someone can verify Heddon employed this clamp. I am having difficulty posting pictures on this site which Tom Kirkman is trying to help me with, but can email one to you if you would care for me to do so. Mark T.
