Two weeks ago I ordered what I thought was American made blanks. My order was on back order, I called about them again today just to find out the order will bhe filled in about two weeks as they are on the boat still.
Who Handles American made blanks and which blanks are they, such as MHX Matrix, etc.

Who is making Orvis' blanks for them in the US? Curious, Buzz

Is american tackle made in the USA? I would think so based on the name.

Some of the American Tackle blanks were made in the US years ago, not sure now. Lamiglas made them.

All but the entry level fly rod from Mystic are made in Michigan. They sell their blanks for about half of the finished rod price.

I know Orvis does still make their upper level blanks (both carbon and glass) in Manchester VT. Not sure about the entry level stuff.

Add Burkhiemer and Mike McFarland too.

I think Thomas and Thomas--at least they used to.

Bill it would be a great help if you made a designation on your models to signify that they are American made. Simply an A at the end of the rod blank model. Just a thought.
