Number of Guides on HM-MB812XF?

I am building this spinning, KR Concept Micro. Choke guide is 23.5 from the tip. Given how fast the blank is, do you think I would be better with 6 running guides (that includes the choke guide) or seven? If I use 6 spacing will be 3 - 3 1/8 - 3 5/8 - 4 - 4.5 - 5. If I use 7 guides they start out at 3 and don't go above 3 3/4", which sounds awfully close to me. Re: Number of Guides on HM-MB812XF?

I'd try it with just the 6 and see how it casts and appears under a static distribution test. I suspect it will be fine.

Usually on that type rod not more than 4 inches and not closer than perhaps 3.5.
