Are they still available? I am looking for 7ft live bait 12-40. It seems that noone carries them anymore. Maybe they are out of business?

John - Mudhole has CRB Gator blanks I think they have the one you want (MH Gator B12-40L) 7' 12-40 live bait rod. Finding some blanks on the new mudhole website has been difficult. So search using the word 'gator' only and you will get there. Gator blanks or Gator glass will not get you there. It on the second page.

It's been hard to find a lot of things since the new web site hit. MH, I respectfully suggest adding back in search by brand. It'll help those who know already what we're looking for.

Jason,
You can search by brands here: [www.mudhole.com]. Brand is also a facet available to filter results, we are working on adding a "Series" facet which will help in instances such as this when looking for a particular line of blanks or products.

Kind Regards,

Hi John,

Gator Glass has been out of business for several years (and the assets bought and sold several times since then). When this first happened - we and our customers where not happy because the blanks were a staple in the Florida market for years, known for their value and durability (customers ignored straightness and heavy weight issues). Therefore, Mud Hole moved the Gator Glass blanks under the CRB brand and they are now called "CRB Gator Blanks". Some are made by the new owner(s) on the original/new tooling and equipment here in the USA and some are made by others in the USA. Since this move, if anything, the quality and constancy has improved while keeping the pricing affordable.

On the new web site, go to Brands > CRB > CRB Gator Blanks or just follow the link below:

Thank you for the interest and tight wraps.

Regards.
