Sometime ago I saw a post where someone had replacement rubber o-rings available for rod dryer supports. Not that it makes any difference but I believe they were yellow. I have searched all the forums I belong to and have not been able to find this post. If anyone remembers the post or can point me in the right direction , I would appreciate it.
UPDATE: I finally found the original post and contacted the supplier who is currently out of them. Thanks for all the inputs on where to find them. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/02/2015 02:26AM by Robert Hummel. Re: Replacement Dryer Support Wheels

You can do an internet search of the @#$%& sites and find O rings of various sizes. For these roller O rings, I prefer using the Silicone rings. They don't seem to dry out over time and last much longer than the typical rubber O ring. Re: Replacement Dryer Support Wheels

Hi Robert,
Just following on from other posts, it has been my experience with O rings, that the ordinary type O ring, will perish and split in a short period of time, you can get a harder grade that lasts longer. From memory it is called Duro grade. The one that I now use is the high pressure O ring, it is orange in color, at least it is here in Aussie. These O rings are from the Hydraulic Industry. I have been using the currant set of rings for better than five years now, without any signs of wear. Regards, Rod. Mboro. Qld. Re: Replacement Dryer Support Wheels

Here is another thought if you want an exact match locally. I spent over forty years in the heavy construction equipment industry. These machines use hundreds of O rings and dealers have every size and every type available.
If you have a Caterpillar, John Deere, or Case tractor dealer near you they will have what you need. Tom Re: Replacement Dryer Support Wheels

G'day Rod where did you find them .I've searched locally & couldn't find any .The black ones do crack that often for me that I now buy them in sets of 20 from China .The only problem is the time in shipping Regards Baz Bundeena NSW Australia Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
