Rod Room has a few, the item is in stock and ready to ship here at the warehouse. At this time, none of these are being shipped with the insert carbon tube. Also, be careful when ordering...there are a lot of options on this seat. I comes four ways: 1) regular hood, 2) regular hood with covered thread sleeve (like a KDPS), 3) regular hood with a BACK STOP™ locking Nut, and 4) covered thread sleeve with a BACK STOP™ locking nut. MAKE SURE if you order pieces separately you do not try to combine the standard nut (TVSS (16,17)/ASH) with a BACK STOP™ Locking nut. Order the hood designed for the BACK STOP™, part #TVSJ(16,17)/ASH. Great seats, and you can get it a lot of different ways. The order number for a complete seat - standard hood with BACK STOP™ is TVSTJS(16 or 17)

Thanks, Jim. The complexity is worth it - they are unbelievable components. I think these things are going to fly off the shelves. I just hope the first several dozen fly to me in Alabama.

I can tell you for sure that the lock nut WORKS. It is not simply a second nut like on a fly reel seat..it really locks things down in both directions. It is very secure. I didn't really see the need for it but now that I've played with a few it is a great innovation.

I am super impressed and can't wait to get my hands on more of them. I want the TVS and PTS seats, too, but these nuts can go on any size 16 or 17.

Anyone have the casting seat bodies and the nuts with two side channels (PTS style) that you know of?

Bill I had 17 of the PTS seats at the Houston fishing show last week and the carbon tubes to fit. Two Rod manufacturers found out I had them and they bought all I had. I still have som Sz 16 TVS seats in stock along with the tubes.
