Hello Everyone,
Well it's been awhile since I have posted in here,
I figured I would get in here and ask a question on
the Pac-Bay Rod Smith RW3-XL. After about 10 years or more
of hand wrapping rods, I figured I would take the plunge and
bought this rod wrapper.. What do you guys think of this one.
I found it brand new for $305.00, cheaper than anyone that has it

15 years or so ago I used their RodSmith for 5 years. It worked! I built many rods using it. Wrap by day and dry finish at night. Eventually I needed a stronger machine. For the price it is an excellent tool especially with the improvements. Many tackle shops use them. Go for it!

About 5 years ago I got the Pac bay wrapper since then I replaced eyes on about 100 t0 200 rental rods each year for a fleet of party boats .It workes great the only thing I have done is replace the drive belt-oring.i think twice .The dryer motor I think I used it once as I have a Quad dryer and coat 4 rod at a time .
