Rod Blank Question

I often buy blanks from rod builders that no longer want to build rods and have blanks for sale. In my stash of blanks I found one labeled GRT130TB. It could be a 5'6" trolling blank or a standup tuna blank. Any info will be appreciated. I don't know who makes this blank or I would call the manufacturer. I will see the Batson team this weekend and I will ask them if it is one of theirs. Re: Rod Blank Question

Is it a Batson or an old Sabre/Pacbay, or a Cascade Composite. I know I have a blank with that # but it might be a GT not GRT. Re: Rod Blank Question

I think that you are right in the blank being a Pacbay. I had a friend that was a distributor for Pacbay products. He often sold me blanks that he was overstocked on at his cost. I may build that blank into a short standup rod for snapper and grouper. Thanks, John Re: Rod Blank Question

Just for your info, I checked our system and found no blank with that item number sold in the past 15 years. -The Batson TEAM BatsonEnterprises.com Re: Rod Blank Question

Thanks Geoff. Maybe it's none of the above. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
