Try cork dust in Elmer's white glue. Mix to consisyency of mayonaise and fill holes with pin or toothpick. Let dry and sand.

I also use Staples Wood Tone Putty in Golden Oak color. Its a latex filler that comes in a tube. Its a soft cream and you can apply it with a tooth pick, it drys very close to the color of the cork.

Lee,

Regarding your post to rodbuilding.org, 10-30-01, on the subject of Cork Filler, I am glad to see somebody has found a product that won't harden, crack, chip, etc.

Where did you buy the Staples Wood Tone Putty in Golden Oak color? Also, does it work with U-40 cork sealer?

TIA.

Jerry
