I live in Midland Beach in Staten Island. From Facebook my entire area has been decimated. Several friends have lost their homes - meaning there is no house where there once was one. I am in chicago so I have no idea what condition my house is in, but I am going to assume I took on 4-15 feet of water. I think The NERBs will be on a timeout for a while.

Hello All

Good Luck to all up North.
I'm in NC near the coast on a creek and got some high water but it was 4ft less than Irene.
So it was not to bad for me, some on the beach lost everything and one section of the outer banks is cut off (the only road is gone in several places).

Again Good Luck to ALL.

Bob,

New Bern, NC.

Here's one for you. As the storm passed through Maryland on its west bound track it got to the Mountains of Western !Maryland . There the rains turned to snow and dumped 22 inches of snow in Hagerstown and then knocked out the power.

Thoughts and prayers to our neighbors out west.

Tom
