Happy Holidays to all!

I am not sure were If I read it on here or in someones own personal forums, but I am having malfunction in the memory marbles I guess. Perhaps Tom Kirkman can shed some light on it? On the ferrule alignment procedure, it was very informative and it looked very easy to do ! For the life of me I thot this was in our Library and I went back for some brush up information and now I cant find it! Was this posted in the library and now removed? I am prepping for some serious building here and have many rods on the slate wanting this concept installed. Is it possible to get this procedure put into the library perhaps an early Xmas gift Tom K. If not thats OK but man I am sure I read it in there at some point! Well thats about it for now thanks folks and have a wonderful evening!

No, it's never been in the library - it was an article in the magazine.

Unless you have a poor fitting ferrule, there is no reason to perform any sort of ferrule adjustment. They're fit at the factory and unless something has gone haywire or you have an older rod with a great deal of wear, it's not something you should have to worry over.

Well LOL I suppose I did find it in my issue of Rodmaker and now I remember reading it ...funny how you tuck things away to be sure you can get to it for future inquiry, I put away and it was really put away LOL Thanks for the quick response and yes they are much older rods two are 20 years old and I like to do my home work before I dig into such things. Better to be prepared than surprised !
