If you'll do a search here you'll get the information you need. As you no doubt have found, a brush is not the optimum tool when using PG to finish a blank. What you want to do is saturate a cloth or rag with PG and make a quick swipe down the blank, tip to butt, then spin it 180 degrees and do it again. Wait 30 minutes or so and repeat. That's usually enough to gloss the blank at minimum weight.

Wanye,
Look at the most recent issue of Rodmaker magazine. Tom did an excellant job discribing how to use foam brushes. I was going to send him some additional comments but I wanted to reread the article before I inserted foot in mouth. Ed Smith Flat Rock, NC Re: permagloss

You can also use a coffee filter. Cut a small hole in the middle, starting from the tip, create a "cup" with the filter and your hand around the blank, pour a little permagloss into the cup, and slid it down the blank. Repeat in 30 minutes if necessary to cover any missed areas. (Don't forget to wear latex/nitrile gloves!) Re: permagloss

I use make up remover pads. Be quick though. Don't let it get tacky as you will get little fibres in the finish. I can usually cover the whole blank in two swipes (assuming it is a blank and does not have any wraps on it). Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
