A Rod Builder deserves recognition for Relief Donation

I just had to bring this to the attention of viewers.

A while back, after the Sept. 11 tragic attack in N.Y. and D.C. a good friend of mine and fellow custom rodbuilder, Coach Paul Bagby decided to donate a special custom rod that would be @#$%& and the proceeds go to the relief effort of the WTC disaster.

Well, it happened Thursday Oct. 11 and resulted in a generous final bid of $250 that will be donated to the cause.
Although I played a minor part in donating the blank and some components for the rod, most recognition deservedly goes to coach for the idea and carrying through to the effort of urging the bids on a
recognized saltwater website chat line.

I personally congratulate Coach for doing this and the generosity I am certain will be well received. Fellow rodbuilders wishing to congratulate Coach also can email and let him know what a great guy he is for doing this at coachb@gnt.net
He'll truly appreciate it.
