St. Croix factory rod thread colors

Can anyone tell me the main thread color on the following two factory St. Croix rods, which have since been discontinued and replaced with different color blanks:

Older pre-IPC Avid series fly rods with the matte dark grey blanks. Main color wraps have a bluish grey tint but I can't guess the Gudebrod color.

Older Legend Elite fly rods with the brown perlescent blanks. Main color has a mocha sort of color but I can't guess the Gudebrod color.

I need to do a couple repairs and would like to get the match right so I don't have to rewrap everything and can just rewrap the damaged guides.

Thanks for any help.

If you have to wrap a guide or two cut them off and look underneath them. That should give you the best color to try and match with a color chart.

Yep ... call customer service and ask for Dan. He will be more than happy to give you the color codes.

I would call St Croix too. I had one of their rods in for a broken guide, the rod was a model that they don't make currently and I called them, they gave me all the necessary info to replace the guide and the correct color of the thread. They run a first class operation in my opinion and they were more than willing to help out.
