Pac Bay follow up call

I went to the Pac Bay web site and requested a catalog. Had it in about a week. I recieved a phone call from sam at PB the other day and spoke with him today. Asked if I had any question sor comments on PB products. I brought up the power wrapper and the thread carriage and how poor I thought the design was. Sam wa svery receptive to what I thought of this and some guides and blanks. Told me he would call me back, so we will see what he comes up with for the dreaded thread tensioner.
Anybody else get a phone call?

I wrote for a catalog but have not had a call, so far anyway. That's either great customer service or they have a lot of time on their hands!

I got my call but was not at the office to receive it. What are they trying to do? It is indeed interesting. Have not call them back yet. Any one talk to their representative yet?

I got a call this afternoon, we had a good discussion re: their blanks and various reel seats. They are genuinely interested in what we want, they are looking to please. Plus, they are headquartered here in the Great NW. "Had to throw that in!" They do market some great blanks and reel seats. Don't let the price make you overlook them.

I asked for a catalog and got it a couple of days ago. I like their reel seats, guides and perhaps would try their PBX blanks. Who carry these products? I was given a list of distributors but the only email I sent out was returned, undelivered. Any vendors with a complete range of PacBays products interested in contacting me?
Thanks
Selesa

Mudhole carries Pac Bay guides and reel seats, and can probably get the blanks.

We offer the full range of Pacific Bay products at Custom Tackle Supply. If we do not stock it, there is no problem obtaining any of their product, as we order 2 to 3 times a week from them and have orders coming here every few days. We will also be adding and stocking more of a full line of their products for the up-coming year. A company that is interested in your rod building needs and servicing customers. Let us know what you are interested in obtaining and we will be glad to be of any assistance or help. You can e-mail us or phone us.

I ordered a catalog the other day. They also called me that same day. Seem to be very interested in my comments & concerns. I informed them I had only been building rods for about six months. But they were still interested in my questions.

Custom Tackle Supply is where I have bought my PB blanks. Bob is very helpful & knowledgeable.
