Give composite cork a try ... it is more durable, less expensive AND you can purchase different colors and patterns.

don't want to hijack But, what is the lightest form of cork that is still durable?

Rodbuilding, cheaper than therapy.

At one end you have pure cork, it is the lightest and least durable. At he other end you have the cork/rubber composite, it being the heaviest and most durable. In between in both weight and durability is the all cork composites which are available in various colors.
