Hey All. I wanted thank everyone in advance who is involved with putting on the EXPO this weekend. I have been wanting to get into rod building for a while now, and although I've read several books and spent some time on this site, I haven't made the leap yet. I will be at the EXPO all wild-eyed and frantic, trying to learn as much as I can. To say that I'm getting excited would be putting it mildly. Thanks to all you who are making this possible, because us newbies need all the help we can get. To have it all in one location like this is pretty awesome. I can't wait.

Pete,

Your excitement is well placed!! You'll learn more in this one weekend than you would in 10 years on your own. One suggestion I will make, if you haven't already, subscribe to RodMaker Magazine to help you keep up with what's going on. As Tom has said many times, most if not all of the major manufacturers keep subscriptions. That should tell you something!!!
