Guys,
i have a question.. tried searching the forum but came out with too many results, which didnt really answer the question... I have rod bond, purchased 2+ yrs ago. I recently took out rod bond (it has been in a cool dark corner of my room for the last one and half yrs) and noticed that it has kind of thicken up to something like frozen jello for both parts.. I believe it is still usable (i tried it out, and it seems to harden just fine, though my thumbnail was able to make a slight imprint after setting for 24hrs). So, is there a way to thin down rod bond? and is it advisable for me to still use it after 2 years? I know you can microwave or warm up the epoxies to make them less viscous.. but how about rod bond? - Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day.. Teach a man to fish, he'll be broke! It is still good! What you need to do is warm up the 2 jars this well return the components to the original buttery texture. have you called the company?

Same thing, put it a pan of hot water or hit it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time. It's still good.

It can be made like new. Epoxies don't really have any appreciable shelf life. They'll last and last.
