Batson Now has the perfect solution for this application when no fore Grips are used. The part number is as follows.
FBWC and starts in size 9.0mm-14.0 with half sizes available. These are made of flexible PVC and rubber to perfect out side dimensions that never changes only the ID does. I know these fit all Batson Size 16 Graphite seats on the threaded side Karry Batson Batson Enterprises Inc. As a distributor for Batson Enterprises, I have a order going in for these nifty little items. No more trying to find a winding check or hosel for trimming out the no-foregrip approach. If anyone is interested in obtaining these, contact me by phone at 931-684-6164 or shoot me a e-mai to - customtackle@united.net - No fuss over a proper fit.

And for larger seats? I very rarely use the size 16's any more on spinning rods, preferring 17's and 18's. Re: No foregrip winding check? Batson has them!

Sorry nothing for threads down on spin seats. These are mostly for Casting seats at this point unless you throw the threads up on size 16 spin. Personally I feel threads up are uncomfortable. I have been using the size 16 Batson Pipe seat for the most part using 2500-3500 size reels and seems to really hold without any wobble whats so ever. In that case the new FBWC would trim the BPSTG16C very nicely threads down. Karry Batson Batson Enterprises Inc. I have several hundred of them in stock and ready to ship in all sizes available. They're not listed on my website yet but you can call me to place an order or send me an email with your ph. no and I'll return your call. I've used them on several rods and they make a perfect transition from the outer diameter of the reel seat to the top of the winding check. Lance Re: No foregrip winding check? Batson has them!

Kerry,
You and Bill should get together and change your corporate slogan. "The Vision Continues" and add to it, "and Broadens". To show your commitment to changing and evolving with the craft. Just a suggestion. Bill in WV Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/15/2009 10:06PM by William Bartlett. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
