Like most folks who visit this board, I've had dealings with a lot of the sponsors here, and I can't think of one instance where I was'nt satisfied. I had an experience yesterday that I'd like to point out.:: In mid -December I placed an internet order with Anglers Workshop. I promptly rec'd a confirmation of order and a short time later rec'd a shipping notice. With the busy holidays I had forgotten about the order, since it wasn't urgent stuff. Just some accessories for my Custom Power wrap. I hadn't yet rec'd it, so I called Dave Lyons to ask what the status was. He tracked it and it showed to be delivered at my workplace, which is common for me to recieve at work. Everyone knows of my hobby and I have a lot of trust in my colleagues. Nobody rec'd any thing. Dave , without hesitation said he would get busy on resending the order. This is the kind of "stand up" service that assures he will get more of my business. I'm sure most of the sponsors here would have done the same, but Dave's attitude of "let's make this right" instead of "what went wrong" really impressed me. Thank you Dave Lyons and Anglers Workshop.

Jim and Linda Britt started Anglers Workshop and passed on a world of knowledge to family and crew to continue to be one of the very best rod building suppliers you cound possibly ask for in todays world....I am very proud to say I was one of their first customers and once a year I looked forward to our yearly trip to Canada with one of the highlights was to spend an evening with Jim on our way through Washington state....I want to thank Linda for allowing Jim to break away for a little "Guy Thing" at the local eating and watering hole.

I too have found Anglers Workshop and Dave Lyons especially to be very helpful and responsive. I teach a rod building class for our fly fishing club and one of our past students mistakenly epoxied his grip and reel seat on the 3rd section of a 4pc rod blank.

Dave had him return the section, removed the reel seat and obtained a replacement section from Loomis returning all at no charge.

Really "above and beyond the call of duty!"
