Bob-

I don't know where Hugo is exactly, but I am in Fort Smith, Arkansas which is on the eastern border of Oklahoma. I'm happy to help if I can. Let me know.

Hi Bill Hugo is about 120 miles NE of Dallas Texas. Right on the Texas Oklahoma boarder. The reason I was asking is that I live in Washington State, near the coast. I well be in Hugo for a month or a little longer. I just wanted to hook up with a rod builder. Too shot the bull with about rod building. Last time I was there it was boring. My wife’s family is from there. Could not find any thing to talk about except rodeoing and the circus cemetery. They do not fish, unless it is for Perch, using a Wal Mart rod.

Since you're not getting any more hits, I'll mention that I'm just slightly farther away than Bill. I'm in NW Arkansas.

I've been to Hugo. You're right--it is kinda' boring.

You're likely to find more TX rod builders close to you than OK or AR rod builders.

Bob - Bob - Bob , Tonight do not go to the Dairy Queen and drive down to Paris, not France, and eat some catfish at the huge place on the left on the way into town. Keep your eyes open and you will see some of the finest striper fishermen in the world coming back from Lake Texhoma. Say howdy and meet some real Tejas fishermen. There are a number of rodbuilders in the area as well. It is one fine area for winter fishing. Try chemclean@aol.com if you need to get a charter or have a rod fixed by someone who can spell.

Bob-

I don't know about this whole situation. Pardon the pun, but this sounds a little fishy. If they live in Oklahoma and don't like to fish and hunt, there is a very good chance they were placed there in some type of Federal Witness Protection program. Beware.
