lamiglas blanks 6909 and 6906

hey everyone,

this is my first time at this board. i need your help on two lamiglas blanks: 6909 and 6906. how do they differ and can you give me some characteristics of them? i heard that the 6906 is glass and the 6909 is composite, but cannot confirm. i emailed lamiglas, but didnt get a reply. i plan to use it (depends which is better) to throw iron and grind iron in socal.

Alex, I'm sorry you did not receive a response but I am the person that usually deals with these questions and I did not receive a request.
Any way I am not quite sure what the application that you are doing is, but the composite version of the 6909 has become reasonably popular for some surf applications in the NE. These "classic" blanks were originally designed for use in S. Ca. the other mode you are refering "6906"? I'm not familiar with. Anyway if you have further questions email me at:
