Larry's shop

Those of us who visited Larry Tysinger's new rod building shop today were certainly impressed. I expected it to be very nice, but wasn't prepared for just how nice it reallly is. I don't think I was alone in being exremely impressed with it.

If there is a nicer or more complete rod building shop in the U.S., I'd like to see it.

I plan to go back and take some photos for the magazine. You aren't going to believe your eyes. I could not possibly describe it in words.

No, I don't think the disc was formatted for stills. I'll go back with my camera and get some next week. Nothing any of us could say or describe would do it justice. Larry has a right to be very proud of his rod shop.

Larry's shop was simply overwhelming! I can't conceive of better shop. He was a great host and I got so many new ideas from the NC Gathering.
His shop needs to be photographed and published. Photos, however, will not be the same as seeing it in person. It's so well thought out and so complete.

Enjoyed the Gathering very much and look forward to at least one a year! I got so many new ideas it boggles my senile mind.

I left the group at 2:00 PM with the idea of a ten minute visit to the Greensboro WoodCraft store before the 4 hour drive home. The planned 10 minutes turned into 2 hours.
