Aren't we all. The best way is to make your own. Instructions abound in many books and articles. (I included instructions in the book, Rod Building Guide, which many of the sponsors on this page sell.)

In the meantime you may just want to buy a few. Any of the sponsors on this site should have some in various sizes. Having a good assortment on hand is very worthwhile.

I'm sure someone else will weigh in with their own instructions on how to make various types.

For those of you that like to make your own. We now sell a kit, consisting of several sizes of blank material and the silicon carbide grit. It is easy to do and you can make them in the sizes that you prefer. Besides the grit, we also sell the Flex Coat cloth abrasive material, that you glue to a shaft and we have been told that it is the best of all for reaming and not only that, it lasts and last and lasts. The feed back from rod builders on the Flex Coat abrasive material has been nothing but outstanding results!!
