I am looking for any web sites that have complete how-to rod building series on them. Any help with the URL's is appreciated. If they are not supposed to be posted here please email them to me. Thanks.

Here are two excellent fly rod builiding sites with the info are asking about, but I am sure there are more out there: www.flyshop.com, click on the Rod Building Board and look to the left side of the screen and click through the steps. Next is @#$%&, on the left click on Beginners than Rod Building, it is written in a book format with I think about 12 chapters. A couple of inexpensive books I have found that are helpful, Step By Step Rod Building and Start to Finish Fly Rod Building, both are put out by Flex Coat. Hope its OK to list the site names and the books. Good Luck, Richard

Thanks. I'm not really looking for books but for things that can be resourced on the web. Thanks again.

One of the board sponsors, Mud Hole Tackle, has several series on rodbuilding under Rodbuilding 101. Also Al Goldberg, at stripersonline.com has a 4 part series of articles on building a rod from start to finish. These are in the articles section. But what you really need is Tom Kirkman's new book. I'm a first-time rodbuilder and its helped me a bunch. Lots of pictures and good explanations of basic rodbuilding issues.
