Hello all .I have gotten lots of really good info from reading the posts on this forum,it has been a wonderfull resourse of knowledge for me. I,m an amature rod builder living in interior of BC Canada. great place to live but not very handy to get info and supplys for this hobby.this forum is just great for me,and I,m sure lots in similiar situations.I,ve purchased some blanks from one of sponsors on left. really happy with everything too.One of them is a sprey blank and I haven,t seen much discussion on sprey rods. the one I have is a cascade composites-RXF 130 8/9-13 ft 8/9 3 piece. I know cascade is out of business but have only had one rod break in 20 years, and that was probably my fault. My question is does anyone have any advice on guide placement measurements. Also does anyone have any experince fishing with this blank. Thanks in advance Daryl Re: New member question,of coarse

Daryl: Can't answer your questions, but want to mention that the blanks you refer to (Cascade) are for most purposes indentical to the Rainshadow and Forecast blanks still being made and sold by many of the sponsors. Re: New member question,of coarse

I saved an old thread about the (old) Rainshadow 13 foot, 8/9 weight spey blank. Andy Snedden had a response, might email him for suggestions. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
