Check out Lamiglas. They have a great 2pc 11ft surf rod blank
SB1363M-2. Nice durable blank.
I ve built this in both one & two pc rods for plugging/bait fishing in N.E.
Guides and spacing will depend on whether you are going spin or conventional.
Spinning Ive used BSVLG hardloy guides and for conventional BNLG.

St Croix also has a two pc in their Ben Doer series. Its a nice graphite blank. I have one of these also that I wrapped up. It breaks down near the butt instead of the middle if space and travel is a concern.

There are a multitude of good 2-piece surf blanks. Depends on where you're fishing and whether your fishing for big red drum or just redfish in general. If you plan on fishing for big red drum at the Point at Cape Hatteras, you'll need to be able to throw 8 oz. of weight + bait with a 11-13 foot rod. There's not a lot of graphite blanks that will do this, but here are some: Lamiglas- GSB1322M (4-10oz.), GSB 1502MH (6-16oz.); Outcast- GSC1625-2C cut to 12'6" (4-10oz.), GSC 1539-2 (8-11 oz.); Breakaway GSW1509-2 (5-12oz.). Need to know whether it will be a conventional or spinning rod to make guide and spacing recommendations. Seems there are more fiberglas blanks used up North, but more graphite surf rods used in the South. Need graphite for the longer casts required on flat Southern beaches. The Outcast blanks are very sensitive and very light for the amount of power, but kinda pricy.

Loomis SU1448 will certainly do it, and the Seeker CSU115 is not bad, but will max out at about 8 ounces of weight.

Also, we have a new blank in the "GSB" series this year

GSB 141 2MH 11'9" 6-14oz.
+
GSB 144 2MH 12'0" 6-16oz. Heaver Style
GSB 150 2MH 12'6" 6-16oz. Heaver Style

these blank's are fast and will throw the type of rig you are talking with ease. They are also lighter than any of the other blanks listed. All three of these are off set ferrules 1/3 of the length is the Butt and 2/3 Tip. Some feel that this helps to maintain that "1pc." feel......

Breakaway series by All-Star will throw up to 12ozs. with out a problem. I would reccomend the 11'9" model.
