HAS ANYONE USED THE LAMIGLAS # C6909 FOR A SURF ROD
I'M LOOKING TO THROW 3 OZ. PLUG'S . IT WILL BE USED WITH A PENN 8500 SS AND #20-#30 LINE.DOSE ANYONE SEE A PROBLEM WITH THIS.THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

Hi Dennis,

I will have my C6909 at the Freeport Show this weekend. This rod has taken a 30# striper under the light at Montauk throwing bucktails.

Yes , it is heavy to use for long periods of time(all night).

The fisherman took a bad fall in the rocks while retreiving the fish. The blank was badly scratched but it did not break. The 30# bass was landed and released.
