LS Supreme Resin Went Bad?

I bought a 4 oz size of LS Supreme. Used it once and it worked well. Now, 2 weeks later the resin has thickened and actually had a thick mat coating covering the top. I removed this, but the stuff is just bad.

The cap seemed airtight. Anyone else had this problem? I would like to order some more but I am a little hesitant.

It's okay - do this

Nothing wrong with it - that is normal. Here's what you do. Set that bottle in a pan of hot water, or loosen the cap and pop it in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds. May have to do this twice.

All epoxy resins will crystalize in colder weather. You can heat them and they return to normal. You can do this as often as you like and it will not harm the stuff or change how it works in any way!

OK, I knew about the cold effecting the resin but I have a bottle of Supreme Hardner that has turned very dark, kind of like a dark amber. My newest bottle is a much lighter color. Any reason?

The component parts used in the hardener will tend to turn amber as they age. It will not affect the cure or long term performance of the product and usually when mixed with the resin the amber color is reduced and the mix will appear quite clear.

It has been my experience that the Supreme does this to a much lesser degree than most other finishes, but apparently even it is not totally immune.
