TEhre are 4 different CPs in this wrap, with epoxy over it. I put one side in the sun for 2 months to see how the threads looked after exposure to the sunlight. There is a line depicting the start/end of a different brand of CP.

I used Flex Coat, Gudebrod 811S, Minwax Polycryllic, and Glass Coat.

I have no clue. Wish I could see it up close in person though. It would be nice to know what to expect from what. I have use Flex Coat for years and no complaints yet, in fact many people come back to me pleased at how well they are holding up 10 pluss years later. I hope it is one of the better ones in your test.

Actually, 811 came out "the best". To be 100% honest, they were all just fine, find one which you like, get used to it, and stick with it. The point was you cannot tell teh diffrent between CP's for Rodbuilding, and Water Based Polyurathane.
