I like it WITH the last diamond outline. The colours however make me think back to the time on the boat when I forgot my dramamine!

It definetely looks better this wasy Mike. I think you could add another color around the whole thing and take the sea sickness out of it. Blame it on the blank color.

I too like this one Mike. It looks similar to a pattern in the Clemmens book Advanced Custom Rod Building but done single instead of double. Looks great to me.
