A recent build. This is a bass topwater rod with a simple spiral using the smallest guides possible. I used Forecast components that I bought from Al and Bill at Midwest Rod and Reel.

hey! im in the process of putting together a fighting sioux themed casting rod as well! built on a batson XP844 from bill and al also!

I'd like to see it when you're done. Sadly, this one bit the dust a year ago. Only rod I've EVER broken and it had to be this one. Oh well, I've since built a couple other Sioux rods for myself and friends.
