Tony, at first I didn't know how well I liked the looks of the rod. However the more I look at it the better I like it. The lines have almost an Art-Deco feel to them. I really like the look of this rod and have a feeling that it is very functional to boot. Great job Mark.

Thanks for the compliments. It is pretty divergent from my typical forms and I haven't previously used acrylic. I have historically gone for more of a flowing, curvy, hourglass-ish shaping on my handles. But that's been all wood. The acrylic just seemed more industrial. So I went for more strait lines and harder angles. I just wanted it to look like it means business. I wasn't sure if I'd like it either, but now I'm really happy with it. It feels really great too. I only wish I was going to be the one to make the first cast with it.

Very nice... the design is very out of the box and clean. A lot of taste from the back to the front, it would be a rod which the angler would take good care of while using to preserve the original look.
