This second grip has one additional coat of epoxy as I wanted to see and feel the results.


Still feels quite tactile and should not be slippery.

None of these grips are slippery. If they were, nobody would be able to use a hammer - they have the same type of surface.

Good point Tom! My hammers are old wooden handle which is probably more inclined to slip than the carbon fiber.

If you really want a smooth grip (still won't be slippery) sand that epoxy down to almost bare graphite (it's okay if you go to the graphite in spots) and put on 2 wet coats of Helmsman exterior gloss spar urethane spray.
