Is that shaded Pink to Orange to Yellow? THat looks really nice. I hope to get some time to do some cross-color shading like this, as I think it looks really sharp. Nice.

Up until now, your pink rod for your Mom was my favorite rod! This one may have surpassed that one (at least close) I can't believe that this is only your 4 th rod!! At 15 years old, you're light years ahead of me at 65!!!!

Billy, the colors were Gudebrod NCP Garnet, Candy Apple, Rust, Orange, Sunburst. Jim, did use your "cheat sheet", thanks. Doug and Mike, thanks for the compliments. It's nice to get positive feedback from the pros to keep this going!

...and fishermen will compliment you on the nice "paint job." Biggest problem with well done thread work is that most guys assume it's paint or "tape."
