This is what happens to a $14.00 plug when I'm too excited to reached a shool of breaking fish and backlash!...This will be my first attempt at color change weave (why not). I'm trying to get a decent " finished image" of hooks flying off of the plug (due to High velocity) but I'm stumped on how to put a treble hook on graph paper...just the developement of a weave pattern takes a ton of time!!!

Mike you are looking at(by my count) at a 7 layer weave in some areas. Not that it is a problem but you must go very slow and check yourself often. I know you can do it but be patient. Good Luck. Good to see that someone else gets to see what development of a pattern the old way and how much time and effort is involved. Remember "breathe in through to nose and out through the mouth" or go UMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm.

avoid substanaces because groceries cost too much these days. lol

Sage advice well taken....baby steps, baby steps!!! But its still unbeleivable what you weavers go through just to develope a pattern......(avoid groceries because gas is too much these days!)

Love it when the news made a big deal a couple days ago that the price of gas was now averaging 239 a gallon and I am paying 289. Must be the taxes?
By the way I dont mean to discourage you from doing it. I just mean when you do it, do it SLOW.

Doc...you didn't discourage me... I'd try it regardless, but I'd try it fast and haphazardly, probablly get frustrated and kick a wall in bare feet..badmouthing weavers and weaving as long as I live! When I attempt it, I'll test out the last 30 or so wraps first, just to see what I'm up against on color change and what happens to the thread......Sage advice well taken, SLOW.

Mike - lemme see how far VizWeave is, maybe Dave can work something out for you so you can cheat on the design.
