4 shades of Pink in the background, 232 total threads (Calstar 800L blank), 2 hours 45 minutes of wrapping. Only had to pack 3 times - black thread is a joy.
Will sand & put another coat of epoxy on once the guides are done.

Looks beautiful Billy. The black backround really makes the pattern jump at you. I guess that is why I use in in weaving soo much. Your wrap looks longer that the fish next to it on the preceding page. lol
But it probably doesnt taste as good.

However long 230mm is in inches, lol. I have another picture of this as a closer up, where the colors are much brighter. Black really does make teh patterns stand out, and no matter how poorly you wrap & criss cross threads, with Black it is completely unnoticeable.I had another plan for this particular wrap, but I used too many Pink threads. There's always next time.
Btw, this is the wrap on the Snoopy rod.

the black closing really lights up the pink.....this looks awesome, my favorite of the ones you posted so far

That came out good. The black helps the pink pop. I think there is a pink revolution going on.
