This is a weight kit that I designed for the purpose of "balancing" my rods.

Brian -

I am really digging this. How do they work? Any secrets you are sharing on how you made it? Thanks!

Bill,
The aluminum insert goes into the butt of the rod.
The delrin and brass washers are the actual weights that make up the kit.

The kit replaces a fightbutt or cap.
The weights are variable and can be made form just about anything you want. If a large amount of weight it needed then brass or stainless steel are best because of their density.

I machined these myself.
I have installed these on a couple of customer rods as well as a few out-right sales.

The drawback to sales is that I have to machine the aluminum inserts to fit each individual rod blank.

Tight lines!
