Wow. You do beautiful work. I really like your use of multiple media in many of your pieces. Those transitions aren't easy, but yours are flawless. They're all very clean and elegantly done. The wood looks like cocobolo? What materials make up the boarder pieces? I especially like the way they play on this one.

You are correct; the majority of the wood in the XST handle is Cocobolo.
The other materials are Brass, African Blackwood and Laguna cork.


(the reel that is in that picture is a prototype - and has no been anodized in the photo - I have a friend who build custom Center Pin reels, locally)
