I detest the order and arrangement. How can you possible get tape and Rod Bond stuck on your feet so you can track it into the rest of the house. You also have entirely too much light - you can see all threads out of place and gnats in the finish. How can you lose tools so you can buy more with a rack like that. Get those blanks in the corner sticking up in a five gallon bucket with a styroform piece cut to fit the top with holes cut for the blanks. Sell the lamp in a garage sale! I wish I could work sitting - I have to lean on a high swivel rolling chair and scoot when trying to wrap on the lathe.

When you get this place plenty messed up post another real picture of the shop in action! Looks good from here!!

Bill, you have to realize all the clutter was removed from the table and wrapper body and placed on an opposite wall where it's not seen photo-wise. The clutter is almost back where it was now. I have no intention of taking another photo of that chaos.

The rod blanks are stored in an old homebrew making container. The top has a hole cut in the center and is padded. Your styrofoam idea is a definite step upward. Thanks.

My spouse will not part with the lamp, and I'm lucky to even have it available. Will pass on your suggestion, however, when I get enough nerve.

I'm currently redoing my rod building table and like this set up. Could you tell me where you got the desk and the lights?

Scott, the halogen lamps are manufactured by Sunnex. I've had them for years & don't recall where they were purchased.

The tables are just two recycled metal office desks placed side by side.
